  • April 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. - The Art of Botanical Illustration. Master Gardener Sharon Gross will present the history of botanical illustration, discuss contemporary techniques, and lead drawing exercises. Pre-registration preferred. Classroom building.

  • June 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. - Music of the Underground Railroad. Celebrate Juneteenth with musician and historian Joe Becton. He will present stories and songs of the Underground Railroad. All ages welcome. Front lawn. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

  • June 22, 2024, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - ALL ABOARD! Spend the day learning all about the Perkiomen Railroad! There will be speakers, live music, and activities for the whole family. Check out our new exhibit in partnership with the Perkiomen Railroad Historical Society.

  • October 5, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. - Ghost Stories by the Fire. Gather around the campfire and kick off the spooky season with ghost stories dramatically retold by author Charles Adams III. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Recommended for ages 13 and above. 

  • October 19, 2024, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - All Hallows Eve Fall Festival. Enjoy a FREE afternoon of old-fashioned fall fun as kids make crafts, paint pumpkins, shuck corn, and press apples into cider. The whole family is welcome to play games, complete a scavenger hunt, and take a hayride around the meadow.

  • November 30, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. - Prelude to a Carol. See the tale of Charles Dickens' inspiration to create A Christmas Carol, and his unintended influence on the celebration of Christmas itself. Seating is limited Pre-registration is required.
  • December 14, 2024, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Victorian Christmas Open House. Celebrate the holiday season with a night of festivities at the Mills! From musicians on the porch to candy making demonstrations in the kitchen, take in the sights and sounds of Christmas past.
